Pedagogical Administrator

The White Mountain Waldorf School, located in the stunning geography of the Mount Washington Valley in central New Hampshire, invites your interest in our Pedagogical Administrator position.

As our Pedagogical Administrator, you will have key leadership responsibility for co-leading a team committed to instilling creativity and a desire for learning, while cultivating social responsibility and personal integrity in a growing cohort of 80 students.

Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the job will centrally involve co-creating, evolving, leading, and managing the pedagogy of the school, leading the faculty and the academic program, overseeing the student affairs function, and administration of the School.

The right person for this job will be an experienced Waldorf teacher who has internalized the principles of Waldorf education, practiced them as a teacher, lives those principles every day, and knows how to embed them in the curriculum.

He or she will be a skillful communicator, consensus builder, administrator, and leader; will be comfortable in mentoring, supervising, developing, and managing faculty; and will have experience that manifests these skills.

Business Administrator

The White Mountain Waldorf School, located in Albany, New Hampshire, invites your interest in a position of co-leadership as Business Administrator in a non-profit independent school.

Reporting to the Board of Trustees, this is a position of unusual breadth, involving central responsibility for overseeing finance and business operations of a school with an operating budget of $700,000, and also oversight of admissions, marketing, development, and fundraising.

The right person for this job will be an experienced budget and finance professional who has some familiarity with the aligned administrative functions, preferably with some direct experience. It is essential that this person have demonstrated supervisory, managerial, and evidence of leadership skills, as well as knowledge of operating a business of 501(c)(3) status.

Exposure to Waldorf education will be helpful; ability to work effectively in an environment that arises out of Waldorf education is essential.

Administrative Assistant

The White Mountain Waldorf School invites applications for a person to provide administrative support to the leadership of our school. We are located in Albany, New Hampshire.

This is a busy administrative role, supporting leadership, faculty, staff, students, and others. The position involves clerical, secretarial, and administrative/coordinative work, database management, and support of enrollment, development, and fundraising efforts.

The right person for this job will be proficient in working with a variety of software applications, including spreadsheets and databases, will be thoroughly familiar with office systems and practices, and will be able to manage competing priorities with grace. Previous experience in working in education is helpful, and exposure to Waldorf education will be very helpful. The ideal candidate must be timely and have excellent professional and personal boundaries.
