“I am confident that the education they have received will make them individuals who can and will take the time to think for themselves and inspire and lead others.”
Morning Garden is a family program intended to nurture young children and their caregivers, while offering community and joyful togetherness. These classes provide a gentle structure within which young children can play and interact with the security of a parent nearby. The playgroup is facilitated by Jen Perkins, a trained Waldorf Teacher.
We are starting our Morning Garden Playgroup for the 2017/2018 school year and we would love it if you were able to join us. The session will run on Fridays from 9-11a at our Albany, NH campus and is for ages 3 months to 4 years. The cost is $75 per family. Daily Drop-ins are welcome for $15 per family.

Rhythm of the Morning
Our mornings together will begin at 8:30am with children playing freely in the classroom while the adults are engaged with snack preparation or a simple craft project (all snacks and craft materials will be provided). Often the children will wish to help with these activities. Later we will clean up, set the table, and then have a circle time during which we’ll learn some seasonal songs, nursery rhymes, finger plays and simple games. We will then wash hands, sit down at our table and say a blessing thanking the earth for our food. Then we share a snack together, which usually consists of organic whole grains, fruits and vegetables. After we’ve cleaned up the snack table we will have a short story or puppet play before singing our goodbye song. We will end our day outside on the playground.
